Having read the about foafnaut! on Gregor’s blog a while ago, Bernie’s remarks on FOAF, Privacy, Postback regarding possible use of FOAF files for building a web of trust made me finally take a deeper look into the matter.
An article on Slashdot a couple of weeks ago discussed that bloggers might be enforced to provide a Postback mechanism in the future (although I personally very much dought that). This would be a nice mechanims to at least address some of the concerns in the comment section of Slashdot.
If you take the web of trust idea a little further, then I think FOAF would serve actually quite well as a more user friendly version of PGP. Then I didn’t have to dig through my errornous PGPkeys which I’m not able to remove anymore because I can’t remember the passwords…
Anyway, you can get my FOAF RDF here
