GEOCaching

By first reading about Geocaching on Gregor’s blog, I thought it’s yet another IP to geographical location conversion service. But it actually sounds like an interesting game, as it mixes virtual aspects with real “field” experience.

I agree with Bernhard in that I don’t think the GPS device is a real necessity. The coordinates for the caches are given on the Geocache website, so a good map (and some reading capabilities) should be enough. But then, we’re living in Switzerland and have access to pretty good maps …
